The Cabin at Pine Lake...
...was built in 1927 on an island that was surrounded by Cedar Creek. Visitors would jump off the bridge into the water and ride tire tubes in the creek that surrounded the building. They would escape the summer sun inside the beautiful log cabin. Often while the kids rafted in the waters, the adults would meet inside for lunch or a soda. The building was used to host barndances that entertained the area visitors. In winters, people came in to warm themselves by the beautiful fireplace. Military veterans often held positions on the Clubhouse board of directors, helping to keep the Clubhouse viable for many years.
The founding mission statement read
"...to promote social welfare among its members. To seek land improvement for the benefit of their members to promote harmony and brotherly feeling among all members."
